FAQ

Questions, answered.

What kinds of clinics use Nabi?

Health and wellness clinics that run on appointments: med spas, salons, physio, massage, chiropractic and acupuncture.

What does the AI do on a call?

It picks up in about half a second, answers questions about your services, and books, moves or cancels appointments in your calendar.

Can a caller reach a person?

Always. A caller can say "person" at any time, or press 0, and Nabi puts them through to your front desk. When the desk is closed it takes a message and flags it for your team. Texts are one-way: a client who wants a person calls. Nabi hands off anything it cannot help with and never promises something your clinic does not offer.

Which languages does it speak?

English, Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Hindi and Vietnamese, on calls and in the texts it sends.

Where is Nabi available?

Canada and the United States.

What does Nabi cost?

US$49 a month for your clinic, plus US$15 a month for each extra staff seat; the first seat is yours. The AI receptionist, appointment texts, the booking page, reminders, charting and forms are all included, and Nabi never takes a percentage of your sales. As an example, a clinic doing US$30,000 a month in sales pays US$1,500 a month to software that takes a 5% cut; with an owner and two staff, Nabi is US$79. Each plan includes a monthly allowance of calls and texts; past it, a call is 7 cents and a text 3 cents.

Can clients book online too?

Yes. Every clinic gets its own booking page with deposits, add-ons, group bookings and a waitlist.

Is there a mobile app?

Yes, Nabi has an iOS app for your calendar and inbox.

Where does client information live? Is the AI a local model?

Nabi runs in the cloud, not on a computer in your clinic. Records and messages are stored in a Postgres database at Supabase; calls and texts pass through Twilio; the AI that answers calls, drafts replies and turns a dictated visit into a chart note runs on Amazon Bedrock, Anthropic and OpenAI under API terms that do not allow training on your data. Only the logins you add to your clinic can read a client's record in Nabi. We do not sell client data, and we share it only with the service providers that run Nabi, which the privacy policy lists.

Who is responsible for privacy law?

Your clinic stays the custodian of its clients' records, as it is with any practice software; Nabi processes them on your instructions. Our privacy policy lists the service providers that handle the data and where they run. Ask us if your clinic needs a data-processing agreement.

What is no-show protection?

Everything in Nabi that turns a booked time into a visit, working together: reminders by text and email, a request for the client to confirm they're coming, a deposit at booking (clinic-wide or only on the services you choose), a card saved at booking, missed-appointment and late-cancellation fees charged to that card, a cancellation notice window with your refund rules, and automatic waitlist offers that fill a freed slot. You switch each piece on in Settings and see them all on one card. Deposits and fees go through your own Stripe account.

Can you move my clients over from my current software?

Yes. Bring your client list as a CSV from Fresha, Jane, Square or a spreadsheet and Nabi matches the columns for you, and AI reads your service menu in. Our team helps with the move as part of setting you up.

What happens to my data if I leave?

It leaves with you. One button in Settings downloads everything as a ZIP: clients, appointments, payments, notes and forms, with the client and appointment files laid out so Jane and Fresha can import them.

Is there a contract?

No. Nabi is billed monthly and you can cancel any time from Billing or by email. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
