How it works

From the first ring to a confirmed visit.

There is no hand-off between an answering service and your software, because Nabi is both. Here is the whole path, and what setting it up involves.

On a call

Answer, check, book, confirm, follow up.

Nabi greets the caller as an AI assistant, finds out what they need, checks the calendar it runs, and books. The confirmation goes by text with the deposit link if one is due. If the client goes quiet, Nabi follows up; if they say no, it stops.

One call, start to finishIllustrative
  1. 0:00Nabi answers: the clinic's name, and that it is an AI assistant.
  2. 0:20Service, practitioner and day understood. Availability checked.
  3. 0:45Two openings offered. Caller picks one. Flexibility noted.
  4. 1:05Booked. Confirmation texted.
  5. 1:10Call ends. Transcript and booking appear in the Inbox and the calendar.

When it should not decide

A person is one word away.

"Person" or 0 on a call, HUMAN on a text. Nabi also hands off on its own when a caller is upset, when a question needs a clinician, or when it is being asked for something your clinic does not do. Those threads are flagged for your desk with the transcript.

  • Open hours: the call rings through to the desk.
  • Closed: a message is taken and the thread waits in the Inbox.
  • Nabi never invents a service, a price or a time.
A hand-offIllustrative
  1. Caller

I'd like to talk to someone about a refund on a package I bought last month.

  2. Nabi

I can't change a package myself, but the front desk can. I'll put you through now.

  3. Desk

Hi, this is Sofia at the front desk. Let's have a look at your package.

Setting up

A few days, most of it on our side.

We load your services, hours, staff and certifications, import your clients, and listen to test calls with you until the greeting sounds like your clinic. Then your line forwards to Nabi's number, or we port yours.

Getting a clinic liveIllustrative
  1. DemoTwenty minutes with a clinic set up like yours.
  2. Day 1Clients imported from a CSV. Services and staff loaded.
  3. Day 2Test calls with you. Policies, deposits and reminders switched on.
  4. Day 3Phone forwarded. Your desk watches the Inbox for the first week.

Questions clinics ask

What does Nabi run on?
Calls run through Twilio to Amazon Nova on Bedrock. Records live in a Postgres database at Supabase. The AI providers we use run under API terms that do not allow training on your data. The full list is in the privacy policy.
What happens when the internet at the clinic goes down?
Nabi runs in the cloud, so calls keep being answered and booked and reminders keep going out. Your desk picks the day back up in the app when the connection returns.
